Desired Skills: • High ability to exercise independent problem solving and decision making with a high degree of initiative and self- coordination • Experience arranging complex travel, meetings, catering, and general office organization The Executive Assistant provides a wide variety of administrative support to the Director. Responsibilities include maintaining calendars, scheduling meetings, preparing and coordinating of standing Mission Area meetings and coordination of conference rooms. In addition, will be required to prepare and coordinate correspondence, assist with in-processing for new employees, maintain staffing seating assignments/coordinating moves, input into and running reports from Mission Area project system and other tasks as needed. The Executive Assistant must maintain strong interpersonal relationships with employees at all levels of the organization and ensure leadership is aware of issues that require immediate attention.
LCAT Description: Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments. Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks. Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems. Contributes to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable. Suggested Qualifications: 13 years of professional experience without a degree; or 5 years of professional experience with a Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree; or no experience required with a related PhD or JD. Consideration should always be given for the level of specific domain expertise.
