BA 447 Network Specialist (Master) Top Secret Required Skills: • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 14 years or more of professional experience; or 12 years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree. • Experience as a Senior level Network Engineering experience, including understanding of LAN/WAN operations and TCP/IP concepts • Experience with Cisco switches and routers • Experience with firewall management/policies • Experience managing Access Control Lists (ACLs) • Experience with VPN and IPSec tunnels • Experience with Managing Port Security/802.1x • Experience with Firewall engineering, traffic and configuring rule sets • Experience with tools supporting the network infrastructure such as Splunk, SolarWinds and FireEye • Experience configuring and managing VLANs • Must have 8570 Compliance (Security + certification) • Current Secret Clearance availability to bring to TS SCI • Experience leading a small team of engineers
Desired Skills: • Experience with Quality of Service (QOS) Functions • Experience with IAVA, security checklists • VOIP • CCNA/CCNP • Type 1 encryptors • Cisco ISE • RedSeal • Fiber channel switching • Creation of network drawings • Cisco Call Manager • Palo Alto firewalls Description Network Engineer Lead for the Department of Defense Cyber In this role you will be responsible for the installation, upgrade, maintenance and troubleshooting of Cisco switches and routers, Palo Alto firewalls, data communications and network management tools supporting the multiple DC3 networks to include: NIPRNET, SIPRNET, JWICS, and other interconnected and standalone networks as required. Creates, maintains, and implements detailed documentation and network drawings, and maintains standard operating procedures. Responsible for implementing STIGs and security compliance. Leads a small team on new technology research, test and deploy; operational support of multiple networks and solutions development. Work with cross functional teams on solutions and support, customer stakeholders, and external organizations. Alliant LCAT Description: Provides technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments. Establishes goals and plans that meet project objectives. Has domain and expert technical knowledge. Directs and controls activities for a client, having overall responsibility for financial management, methods, and staffing to ensure that technical requirements are met. Interactions involve client negotiations and interfacing with senior management. Decision making and domain knowledge may have a critical impact on overall project implementation. May supervise others. Suggested Qualifications: 23 years or more of professional experience without a degree; or 15 years or more of professional experience with a Bachelors degree in an engineering/technical discipline from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education; or 13 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree; or 10 years of professional experience with a related PhD or JD. Viewed as the most senior authority in discipline. Consideration should always be given for the level of specific domain expertise.
