Asset Manager Mid
Summary: This position’s primary role is to support Asset Management team in the tracking, auditing and reporting of Network Devices. The ideal candidate will have excellent Microsoft Excel skills and great attention to detail.
APPLICANTS SELECTED WILL BE SUBJECT TO A GOVERNMENT SECURITY INVESTIGATION AND MUST MEET ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR ACCESS TO CLASSIFIED INFORMATION.
Responsibilities: - Responsible for asset tracking, reporting, and audits - Develops, documents, and updates asset management processes, job aids and work instructions - Establishes and maintains asset baselines - Provides advice, guidance, and assistance on methods, procedures, and requirements that pertain to assets - Acts as liaison between management and other functional groups to resolve issues regarding assets - Performs asset audits to verify compliance with contract requirements - Responsible for NetART/NDMS/File maintenance/Task tracking - Develop and improve the automation of information collection and reporting - Continual Improvement of existing processes and development of new ones - Deliver reports to customer and attend customer calls and meetings - Developing and documenting processes, procedures, work instructions, and job aids - Coordinates efforts with other enterprise departments and teams - Create and deliver reports as required
Job Requirements: - Secret Security Clearance - Excellent with Excel and proficient with Word - Proficient with Outlook and other standard MS tools - Excellent written and oral communication skills - Pays attention to detail - Ability to develop and present new ideas and conceptualize new approaches and solutions - Proven analytical skills and systematic problem solving - Working knowledge of network engineering and operations - Ability to examine, understand and extract asset information from device configurations such as Brocade, Cisco, Juniper, and Riverbed devices - Must have at least 3+ years of technical, asset management, or inventory experience - Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Additional Skills: - High degree of creative ability, analytical and technical skills and independent judgment. - Able to work well in a matrix/cross functional environment with 'time-critical' deadlines and expectations - Experience on the NMCI network is a plus
