BRequired Skills: Secret clearance Strong background and understanding of records management within the Air Force • Experience with DoD Publications and Forms • Familiar with developing, implementing, and maintaining an Information Management (IM) capability • Experience with enterprise-wide electronic and records management systems (includes knowledge management system) • Experience with standardized IM practices, ontologies, taxonomies, meta-data tagging schemas, and management controls in support of document and record systems, including classification, retrieval and retention processes • Experience with acquisition of information from one or more sources, the custodianship and the distribution of that information, and disposition of it through archiving or deletion. • Experience with accounting and administration of digital content throughout its lifecycle, from creation to permanent storage or deletion. The digital content will consist of images, video, audio and multimedia, as well as text.
Desired Skills: • Strong background and understanding of PII and FOIA Knowledge Management manager is responsible for implementing Air Force directive and Information Management policies for all directorates in DC3. Coordination and management of the life cycle of information, support of the mission and business information processes, and determination of how information fits into the organization and meets compliance. Carry out knowledge management responsibilities and objectives set by the Air Force. Alliant LCAT Description: Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments. Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks. Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems. Contributes to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable. Suggested Qualifications: 13 years of professional experience without a degree; or 5 years of professional experience with a Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree; or no experience required with a related PhD or JD. Consideration should always be given for the level of specific domain expertise.
