SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR, SR. - IOSS 075 Location: Philadelphia, PITC DESCRIPTION: Sr. System Administrator has the thorough knowledge to create plans to assure effective management, operations, and maintenance of systems and/or networks. Manages teams of system admins and can prioritize work and identify high risk critical problems and dedicate appropriate resources. Has extensive knowledge of a wide variety of systems and networks to include high volume/high availability systems. RESPONSIBILITIES: Senior level Unix/Linux and Website maintenance and administration Skillset required include concentrated focus on security implementation, operating systems characteristics and volume management, security event assessment and WordPress administration. Expert-level skills in: • Red Hat Linux 7 • RHEL 7 Satellite Server for Patch Administration • VMWare ESX • Apache • Linux Shell Scripting High-level skills in: • Tomcat • Virtualization, emphasis on Hyper-V and VMware • Wordpress • MySQL/Oracle • BASH • System Monitoring • System Security • Recovery / Backup • Windows Server 2008R2, 2012R2, 2016 DESIRED SKILLS: • Public and private cloud infrastructure and concepts • Web hosting Infrastructure o Load balancing o IIS o System management and monitoring tools o Microsoft System Center, other enterprise-grade tools TRAVEL: No TELEWORK: Available VIRTUAL: No EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: BS Computer Science, EE, Engineering, Technical plus 5 year experience. 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education. |
