Tableau Developer Sr (Level 3) Location: Washington, DC 20024 Duration: Long term (3 years) US Citizen or Green Card/ EAD or H1B/ TN Visa (Clearable to Public Trust) FAA CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT (NON - US Citizens) • Has to be in US in last 3 years • Not travelled outside US last 5 years for more than 6 months (180 days) • Tableau and Oracle Certification is a plus Responsibilities: • Solutions to achieve its goals • Plan, recommend and implement dashboards and data visualization in Tableau • Support the Business Intelligence/Analytics data analyst • Design visualizations for initial concepts & prototypes • Design and create reports and dashboards in tableau • Build/ publish interactive Tableau reports, dashboards & data refresh scheduling • Create scorecards, dashboards, scatter plots, geographical maps, bar/line/pie graphs, & Gantt charts • Perform detailed data analysis • Defines, executes and interpret complex/nested SQL queries • Manage a repository data visualization templates and views • Take on role of Subject Matter Expert (SME) and mentor • Improve current processes and create efficiency • Drive discussions on data and insights, context, and implications with business stakeholders • Document and communicate technical specifications to ensure complete understanding • Creates effective Business Intelligence (BI) solutions and analytical dashboards / analytical tools • Use Tableau features to design, develop, enhance and support Tableau visualizations • Maximize utility of visualization products • Development of BI visualizations, design of components, naming of items, data source &creation • Collaborate with BI team to ensure metrics are correctly represented in published content. Required Skills: • 5 years BS degree; 3 years with MS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering • 5 + years’ experience in Business Intelligence and Relational Database Management System ( RDMS) • 3+ years’ experience as Tableau developer • Implementing Tableau in a large scale environment • Analyze complex data sets, create visualization to find trends & patterns in data. • Statistical analysis • Software development lifecycle • Excellent communication, documentation and presentation skills • Agile Project Management methodologies Contact: karan Oberoi at 301-217-0425 *410 cell: 301-346-9015 Email: karan@dansources.com |
