HP Systems Engineer Location: Quantico, VA Duration : 2-3 years Contract Active DOD Secret OR Top Secret MUST Certifications: Security + and ITIL Highly Preferred Responsibilities: • Manage Configuration, custom develop, deploy, manage solutions. • Design/Implements Enterprise Systems Management solutions using HP OpenView framework. • Troubleshoot and remediate HPOM installations. • Identify/Specify monitoring requirements and processes. Develop best practices, automation to monitor/manage large, complex environments. • Install, modify, update, remediate OpenView framework. • Develops advanced monitors in OMW Ver 8.16 or Ver 9 Requirements: • BS Computer Science, equivalent experience. • Five years ESM with the HP OpenView framework • 3 years working on OMW version 8.16 or greater • Knowledge of HP Framework Tools: OMW, OVPM, NNMi, SiteScope and SPIs • Integrating tools into the framework: uCMDB, NNMi, BSM • Enterprise Systems Management (EMS) • HP OpenView Framework • Windows/Unix Administration • Oracle database platform • Knowledge of OpenView Intelligent/Performance agents. • Scripting in VB Script and Perl (LAMP) • System Administration skills. • Working with Oracle Database systems email: karan@dansources.com |
